Handsome new exteriors
For 2023, Ford Super Duty trucks are unveiling seven exciting new grille designs that will vary depending on the trim level and the available appearance package you select. The visual update that's the most notable is Ford's new C-shaped lighting elements and all models can now come with LED headlights. Long side vents have been added to improve aerodynamics and Ford Super Duty trucks can be enhanced with new design packages that offer unique rim, trim and paint combinations.
Ford's new XL Off-Road package gives you 33-inch all terrain tires, an electronic locking rear differential and skid plates, all available only on the single-axle, four-wheel drive versions of the Ford F-250 and F-350.
Enhanced new interiors
Inside the cabin, Super Duty trucks welcome you with an 8-inch touch screen infotainment display that comes standard starting at the XL trim level. At higher trims, you'll get a 12.0-inch display and you can choose either an 8-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo system with 640 watts or a more powerful Bang & Olufsen premium stereo with 18 speakers and 1080 watts.
A configurable 12-inch digital gauge cluster is now available along with optional wireless device charging and a special slot located on the center console that can hold a table upright. Super Duty trucks will also offer an available Max Recline Seat that can fold almost flat and incorporate a lower cushion capable of rising to make you even more comfortable.
Updated powertrain choices
The standard engine for the new Ford Super Duty lineup is a new gasoline-powered 6.8-liter V8 that teams up with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The gas-powered 7.3-liter V8 gets revised tuning and an enhanced air intake.
The Power Stroke diesel 6.7-liter V8 will continue to be a basic part of the Super Duty lineup and there's now a new high-output version with a unique turbocharger, updated tuning and revised exhaust manifolds. Ford has stated that the enhancements will make this the most powerful diesel truck in its class. Last but not least, all Ford Super Duty models beginning with the XLT will come standard with four-wheel drive.
Technology upgrades
For 2023, Super Duty Ford trucks offer a big array of new technology-focused features. It will be the first time these enhancements are available with a 5G wireless connection that will help the infotainment system respond more quickly. In addition, the system will accept over-the-air updates and you can connect up to 10 devices to a Wi-Fi hotspot. What's more, Ford makes its most powerful trucks available with a 2.0-kilowatt onboard generator called ProPower Onboard. Ford Super Duty trucks can now be equipped with an optional head-up display and you can add new safety technology features as well.
