Trims

There are seven versions of the Ford F-150. The XT leads the charge as the base model; it comes equipped with great towing features, tactical safety features, a mighty engine, and a selectable drive mode system.

The next model is known as the SXT; it builds on the base model's core concepts. You'll get more features with this model, but many of the best features are available as upgrades. A mighty V8 engine, STX FX4, and a 4x4, ESOF, off-road system are all available for this model.

If you like the XT, the XLT may also pique your interest because it's more dynamic and refined. It also has great towing features like Pro Trailer Tow Assist, Pro Trailer Backup Assist, and PVD wheels.

Up next is the mighty Ford F-150 Tremor, built for off-roading. Selectable drive modes, skid plates, 33-inch, all-terrain wheels, and Ford BlueCruise are all standard for this model.

The Lariat is the Tremor's most sophisticated, high-end counterpart. It will elevate you to first class with its intelligent, push-start ignition and its tactical LCD with SYNC 4.

Another model in the lineup is similar to the Lariat: the spectacular King Ranch. The King Ranch comes equipped with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather-trimmed front seats, a head-up display, and a haul-tow package. It's worth mentioning that you can equip this model with a full hybrid V6 engine if you want to go green.

The last two models are the best in their respective categories. Up first is the Premium; it's the best high-end model in the pack. It boasts all the staples and comes equipped with a Bang & Olufsen sound system with 12 speakers and a subwoofer, ultracontour seats, and dynamic bending headlights.

As for the final model, it's the dominating, off-road-ready Ford F-150 Raptor. With this model, you'll get robust trail features like Ford Trail Control, sport-tuned shock absorbers, and heavy-duty skid plates.

Interior and Exterior

All versions of the Ford F-150 can accommodate up to five passengers and a four-legged pet. If you run out of space, this truck has no worries because you can easily reconfigure the cabin layout according to your preferences.

Beyond its massive size, there is more to the F-150's interior than meets the eye. One of the standout features is its hidden, under-seat storage bin. It is easy to access; the entire seat raises up and serves as a lid.

Outside of the F-150, the highlight feature is Ford's patented Pro Access Tailgate. It's not built like a traditional tailgate because it puts you 19 inches closer to your cargo. Also, the tailgate door is innovative; it swings out 100 degrees and opens like a normal tailgate.

Packages

Five packages are available for the F-150, and they are all cosmetic. A traditional black appearance and the Black Appearance Package Plus are available for the XT, and the SXT and the Lariat have a standard black appearance package. The Hertiage Package is only available for the XLT model; it stands out because it has its own signature features.
